The World Out There
Don’t get me wrong
I know they are worst problems in this world
Than the problems of this silly little girl
I go hungry for one hour
Others go hungry for days
The amount of food I throw away
They would eat in so many ways
I have a home, a beautiful one
Even if it is not where I dreamt I’d live
But just for my bed alone
What would the homeless give?
So much hurting people
Wish I could make things better
I just don’t think it should be this way
Why can’t we care for each other?
Why do they have places and people so incredibly rich
and others so incredibly poor?
I know if I was one of the rich ones, I’d do much more
I’d change things as best I could
Help others, make things better, I would
But it is what it is
I am what I am
So I’ll just do the best I can
I will still help others in whatever way I could
Still do my best to make things better around me, I would
One person can make a difference
One person can do some good
His Word:
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
