Safe Haven

I want to go to a safe place

A place of peace and serenity

I want to escape to some place quiet

Hear God’s voice within me

I want to hear my heart beat

Hear my soul sing

Feel the happy butterflies fluttering within

I want a glimpse of heaven

Right here on earth

I want to make it to my promised land

Before I die, I want to see paradise here first

I want to go to a safe place

A place of peace and serenity

A beautiful earthly paradise is were I want to be

Waterfalls, flowers, trees and springs

So many natural majestic things

Butterflies, dragon flies, bunny rabbits and bumblebees

Like the Garden of Eden

I want to see these

I want to talk to God

I want to hold His hand

I want Him to lead me and my family to our promised land

I want to go to a safe place

A place of peace and serenity

And if I must without a fuss return to reality

I want to take this paradise wherever I go with me

His Word:

17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.’

Exodus 3:17 NIV
