Guilty
I feel so guilty
Like a total and absolute failure
I am so upset at my behavior
Why do I have to be so human?
Why do I have to be so flawed?
So indiscipline, I’m appalled
I want to better
Make better choices
I wish I didn’t give into temptation
I wish I was better at making sacrifices
So badly I want to be the person I was meant to be
But sometimes I screw up
I give in; I allow Satan’s sweet nothings to tempt me
I feel so guilty
Lord, please forgive me
This I plee
Don’t let me lose
I want to choose
Life, not pain and strife
Lord, help me win
Not give in to sin
Help me,
Find the strength within
His Word:
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 2:23 NIV
