Other than the everlasting love from Heaven above

From in the womb a bond is created

As if, all her life, for this child she waited

Now her life is finally complete

She finally found the fulfillment she seeked

A mother is a valuable asset in God’s platoon

She encourages her children to reach for the stars and moon

She gives them courage to believe in their power

She prays for them every hour

Everyday on her knees, she says her prayers

Because of them, she faces her fears

For her child, there’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do

She would slay the dragon, run the giant through

She won’t lose this battle; she refuses to lose this war

Because she knows what she’s fighting for

Get set!

Go!

Got to keep running

Haven’t reached the end yet

Can’t stop running until my destiny is met

But sometimes in this race

I get tired and weary

And some parts of this race is even a little bit scary

My knees are ready to fall

Don’t know if I’m gonna finish the race at all

I wanna keep going, keep my energy high

But sometimes I just feel to break down and cry

Sometimes, I want to give up, surrender, I’m done

What’s the point, if I’m not having fun?

I need you Lord, to help me finish this race

Give me the strength to handle any obstacle I face

Guide me Lord to my victory

Keep your angels encamped about me

Depressed

Down in the dumps

Doubtful

Distressed

Throat full of lumps

Don’t know what to do

Where to go from here

Down

Depressed

Filled with despair

Need a bit of cheering up

Because I’m so weary

Feeling a bit under the weather

It’s all so dreary

Down, depressed, distressed, drained

These digging emotions, drive me insane

Need some sunshine

To shine through the rain

Need to get away

By boat, plane or train

Down, depressed, totally blue

Dangerously doubtful and stressed out too

So here’s the thing

I want this poem to have a happy end

So a negative message to you I won’t send

What can I say; it’s just a momentary lapse

But for you let me fill in the gaps

Things are really never as bad as they seem

Out of the darkness a flicker of light gleam

In the dark night, there are the moon, stars, and fireflies

So forget what you’re hearing

The Devil’s lies

He is a liar, you know

There is a bright light at the end of this trail

So keep moving forward

You will prevail

because of you, we are blessed

of all God’s gifts to this Earth,

you are one of the greatest

You moisten our parched lips

You keep us cleanse from the ends of our toes

to our fingertips

You renew our soul, when we feel blue

You revitalize and energize

We are thankful for you

I honor you in your many forms,

lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, waterfalls

water fountains, aquariums, rain and snow

All God’s creatures, you help us grow

There is nothing on this Earth,

quite as useful as you

It’s endless, the list of all you do

In the summer, you cool our skin

Chilling us out, from outside to in

In the winter, you keep us nice and warm

Little treasures so under appreciated

Because they are deemed the norm

Water, my friend

If only they knew

How much our life is better

because of you

You are loyal, you’re always there

Taking care of us and showing us how much God cares

Keeping us healthy, keeping us strong

If we take good care of you,

we can live long

We respect your ocean

And honor your sea

Never forgetting your majesty

Dear Heavenly Father,

we thank you for this treasure

I pray Lord, it stays with us forever and ever

Please let us remember our natural resources

Take good care of our Earth

And never forget how much it’s worth

Your golden petals extend with majesty and grace

As the warmth of the sun reflect on your face

I like it how you always face the sun

So blessed and in awe

of all God’s beautiful creations

The birds, the trees, the flowers, the sky

You remind me of them all and lift my spirit high

For playing your part

Some parts of you not well

They said it might be best to take you

Before my life became hell

But what they didn’t know

What my outer layer would not show

Is how I felt you grow

And the way you made me glow

In the Ultrasound, I saw you

I saw your perfect frame

You were already in my heart

You already had a name

They advised me as best they could

Because it wasn’t looking good

But in my God I trust,

In a time like this, it is was a must

I hoped, I prayed and I believed

That God would let the doctors succeed

That your body would be healed

And God’s grace would be revealed

I fought for you day by day

Sometimes the pain won’t go away

But God renewed my strength

Everyday I’d go the length

I’d fight for you some more

Leave my fears at the door

I loved you all along

In my heart you put a song

But God had another plan

His purpose for this, I might not understand

I am still grateful I didn’t heed

When they said we won’t succeed

And take your life, while you were living

Inside me you were growing

The time we spent with you

Made forever our lives renew

You, I’ll always remember

Every January to December

The hard battles I had to fight

To do the thing that’s right

I trust in God day by day

Get down on my knees and pray

I wouldn’t trade it for anything

Because of you, a new song my heart sing

Forever, you’d be my angel

With a special place inside my heart

You changed my path forever

Even though, your time was short

With hair black, straight and silky

And skin soft, smooth and milky

When I held you to my chest

Those memories I like the best

I sang songs to you

While you sang to my heart

You were God’s little warrior

And courage to me you impart

My champion son

Who defied the odds

Since the battle begun

You, I will never forget

For you my heart won’t fret

Your life I’ll always celebrate

Do whatever it takes

Live my life with divine glee

This place where I’m not

I love to go there

It’s my favorite fantasy spot

It’s quiet, it’s peaceful

With the scent of love everywhere

Sunshine warms the cockles of your heart

The wind blows flower petals through your hair

Words of inspiration flows down the stream

I stop to take a sip, as I bask in this majestic dream

I run, and I run as fast as my feet can go

I swing on the trees; I lie in the grass, and let its magic flow

As I watched the clouds and falling leaves,

A divine sense of being my heart receives

In this place where the flowers are so beautiful

With vibrancy of colors indisputable

As I chitchat with the butterflies

and dip my toes into the stream

The peace and calm in my soul

Makes my heart gleam

I feel welcomed and accepted here

As though it’s safe to reveal the real me

Here I am honest, I’m real, I’m free

Here I am genuinely happy

In the Valley of dreams

My dreams are real to touch

I see them; I feel them, breathe them in

Revel in them so very much

and writing about her, that’s easy

Living life in real-time

That’s the hard part.

Sometimes I don’t know where to start

On paper, I feel strength and confidence

I know what life’s about

I want that for real so badly

I wanna scream and shout

Make my paper scribbles and visualizations

more real to me

Make the amazing life and amazing me I think about,

my reality

Lord, with you, this I plea

Grant me my freedom

Free me

Let the happy I write about

Be my life’s new route

What’s with this place, why is there no joy here?

Isn’t singing and praising God supposed to make you feel happy?

Then why does my soul often feel so crabby?

Shouldn’t there be love here, so prevalent and strong?

Then why does everything feel so wrong?

Why is my body here? But my heart does not belong

Why can’t I sing with joy in my song?

I know it’s not me because I often come here happy

But soon as I come here, my joy is sucked from out of me

I feel this place dimming my light

And I often wonder the cause of this plight

I’ve lost my glow and I’m not sure why

If I don’t leave this place soon, my soul’s sure to die

I’ll just be an empty shell, without a soul

Lost in the darkness; left in the cold

But that’s not what I want

That’s not my desire

I want my flame to keep burning

I want red-hot fire

Fire in my heart

Fire in my soul

To replenish the joy this place stole

So I must get away from here

I must leave soon

So I can continue to shine bright

Like the night’s lustrous moon

I’ve decided I’m letting it go this time

I’ve decided I’m not taking old baggage with me

I’ve decided from stress and worry, I’ll flee

Life’s too short to waste a moment of it

That’s why I’m not gonna blow it

I’ve decided I want a life covered in love

I wanna bask in the goodness from above

I want a life filled with true joy

So a happiness mission, I’ll employ

I’m getting rid of all the gunk

No more focusing on stressful junk

I’m gonna look up at the clouds

Listen to the birds sing aloud

I’m gonna watched the squirrels in the trees,

the flowers and the bees

I’m getting on my knees and pray

Thanking God for every new day
